This Privacy Policy explains how we collect and use the information you provide to us when you access or use our websites, domains, products, services or content (collectively referred to herein as “Content.”)

By accessing or using the Content, you agree to the collection and use of your information according to the terms of this Privacy Policy. 

What We Do

We collect information which you volunteer when accessing or using our Content, or otherwise transact with us, including your name, mailing address, email address, telephone numbers, data, registration and payment information (e.g., credit card number and billing address).

We use this information to communicate with you about our products and services or related topics, to provide technical support, to improve our products, and to provide our services, including administrative tasks such as billing and receiving payment.

Member Use of the Community Collaboration Tools

If you are a member, all information or other content which you post within a specific HUB community is available for the viewing and use by the members of that community.  Information which you post to the HTG All community is available for the viewing and use by all HTG members.  This information is not shared with anyone outside the HTG membership, members’ authorized employees, authorized HTG vendors and HTG staff. 

Our membership community collaboration tools (the HUB and shared storage folders) are password-protected for privacy and security.  Please do not share your password with anyone.

Cookies and Other Technologies

When you access the Content, our server automatically receives and records information from your browser including your IP address, browser type, operating system, and cookie information 

A cookie is a small piece of data, often including unique, anonymous identifiers, sent to your web browser and stored on your computer.  You can control the use of cookies at the individual browser level. If you reject cookies, you may still use our site, but your ability to use some features or areas of our site may be limited. 

We use cookies to remember your settings and the pages you visit, to assist you with automatic log in, and for authentication.  We also use cookies and other technologies to collect website traffic statistics and usage patterns.  This information helps us to understand which content you find most useful and how our services can be improved, as well as provide you relevant content.

The Content may contain links to other websites under the control of other parties.  Those websites have their own privacy policies which you should review prior to using such sites.  We are not responsible for other party websites and we provide links to them solely for your convenience.

We will not sell, rent, or trade any collected information to third parties for their promotional purposes.  We may share collected data or information with third parties that work with us or on our behalf (for example, our strategic business partners, vendors, or credit card order processors). These companies are authorized to use your information as agreed or as necessary to provide these services to us or you.

We may disclose collected information as necessary to comply with law or law enforcement officials, such as in response to a validly issued court order, subpoena, or warrant. 

Change of Ownership

In the event of we are acquired by or merged with another entity, we reserve the right to transfer all collected information to such entity.

HTG takes commercially appropriate precautions to prevent unauthorized access to or disclosure of your information.  We have put in place physical, electronic, and managerial procedures which meet industry standards.

Because email and instant messaging are not recognized as secure communications, we request that you not send private information to us by email or instant messaging services.

Terms of Use

Your access or use of the Content, and any claims or disputes arising from such access or use, is subject to this Privacy Policy as well as our Terms of Use which you should review and must agree to.

Changes

We reserve the right to change or discontinue any of the Content or features on our websites at any time.  We also reserve the right to change our Privacy Policy and Terms of Use at any time.  Such changes shall be effective immediately upon notice which shall be placed on our websites.  We will indicate at the top of this page the new effective date of the Terms of Use.  You waive any right to further notice.  Your access to any of our websites or use of the Content thereafter shall be deemed to be your acceptance of such changes.  We encourage you to refer to this Privacy Policy and our Terms of Use on an ongoing basis.

Retention

We will retain data or information we collect from you for as long as needed to provide services to you or our other customers.  We may also retain this information to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, or enforce our agreements.
